A shared descent. A collective re‑emergence. A circle for transformation.

Some journeys are not meant to be walked alone. Especially in midlife — in seasons of unravelling, clarity, anger, grief, or quiet emergence — what we most need is witness, companionship, and a circle that can hold the truth without shrinking from it.
The Embodied Becoming Circle is a communal rite of passage for women who feel the pull toward change. It is a reflective, somatic, mythic space where your story meets other stories, where your fire is held by many hands, and where your becoming is witnessed into being.
Three communal gatherings on Zoom. Two private 1:1s. No more than 10 women.
Why a circle for this journey?
Women’s midlife transformation has always been communal. Across cultures, rites of passage were held in circles – places where sorrow could be shared, anger could be understood, and identity could be re‑formed in the presence of others.
This journey honours that lineage.
It offers:
- a shared descent into what we’ve suppressed
- a collective clearing
- a communal re‑emergence
- the stabilising presence of sisterhood
- the nervous‑system support of being witnessed
- the relief of not having to hold everything alone
The Circle is a place where you can lay things down, be met in your truth, and walk your becoming with others who understand the terrain.
The Emotional Architecture: Anger + Sisterhood
Two forces shape this journey:
Anger — the will to change
The clean, clarifying heat that reveals what can no longer be carried.
Sisterhood — the field of belonging
The sorrow, witness, and continuity that makes the change survivable.
In the Embodied Becoming circle, these forces are held with care, pacing, and embodied support- never forced, never performative, always invitational.
The Braided Arc
The Embodied Becoming Circle follows a three‑part group journey, with two private 1:1 sessions held between the group sessions.:
1. Group Session — Descent (Nigredo)
The descent means going inward, into the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to suppress: the knowledge we don’t want to confront, the unease that tells us something isn’t right, the emotion we’ve denied. We begin with a shared grounding and a naming of where you are, then descend gently into what is true. You meet what is real, without needing to tidy it, and you are never asked to share more than you choose.
→ 1:1 Session — Setting the direction for the clearing
A private space to sit with whatever came up in the descent, at your own pace. Together we’ll find what your clearing needs: perhaps staying with what surfaced, perhaps finding ways to move it through the body.
2. Group Session — Clearing (Albedo)
We return to the circle with new clarity. Through movement, grounding, journalling and meditation, we clear what is ready to be cleared. There is witnessing, resonance and shared meaning, and you begin to see what is yours to carry and what is not.
→ 1:1 Session — Signs, symbols and preparing for emergence
A quieter space to explore the signs, symbols and images that have come up for you. You’re invited to name anything still unprocessed or ready to be let go, and to prepare for the emergence with a clearer sense of what your path ahead asks of you.
3. Group Session — Emergence (Rubedo)
A communal re‑emergence. You’re witnessed in your becoming, and we close by honouring the path you’ve walked.
This rhythm mirrors the natural pattern of midlife transformation: inner work → shared meaning → inner work → shared meaning → emergence.
What We Explore Together
Across the arc of the journey, we weave:
- gentle movement
- guided meditation
- somatic inquiry
- mythic and archetypal framing – signs, symbols, and images
- reflective writing
- shared discussion
- ritual and symbolic practice
- nervous‑system literacy
- compassionate witnessing
Everything is invitational, grounded, and held with care.
Who This Journey Is For
This journey is for women who:
- feel stretched, fed up, or are carrying too much
- are navigating midlife, life transition, or identity shift
- long for community, resonance, and shared understanding
- want a reflective, embodied space to explore their inner landscape
- feel the pull toward change, even if they don’t yet know its shape
No experience of yoga is needed- just curiosity, willingness, and enough emotional steadiness to explore with others.
Who This Journey Is Not For
This Circle may not be the right fit if:
- you need clinical or therapeutic support rather than reflective space
- you are in acute crisis and cannot hold others’ stories alongside your own
- you prefer structured teaching rather than relational exploration
- you are seeking quick fixes rather than slow, meaningful change
You don’t need to have it all together. If you feel steady enough to sit with yourself, with support, that’s enough.
This helps protect the container and ensures safety for everyone.
How to Know If You’re Ready
You may be ready for this Circle if:
- you feel something shifting beneath the surface
- you’re tired of carrying everything alone
- you sense a new version of yourself emerging
- you want to be witnessed, not fixed
- you feel the pull toward community, resonance, and shared meaning
If the pull is there — even faintly — you are welcome.

Scope of Practice
This journey is a reflective, embodied, and relational space- not a therapeutic or clinical intervention. To help you understand whether this work is the right fit, here is a clear outline of what the Embodied Becoming Circle is and is not.

- It is not a space for giving advice, analysing others, or fixing anyone’s experience
Your readiness for this work
This journey is best suited to women who feel emotionally resourced enough to explore their inner world in a group setting. You don’t need to feel “sorted” — just able to stay within your window of tolerance with support.
If at any point it becomes clear that therapeutic or clinical support would be more appropriate, I will gently encourage you to seek that care.

- You choose your level of participation- listening is participation
- You are responsible for your own pacing and boundaries
